Baja Greece 2026: Όλα έτοιμα για την έναρξη της αγωνιστικής δράσης
Με εντατικούς ρυθμούς συνεχίστηκε σήμερα η προετοιμασία για το Baja Greece 2026, καθώς πραγματοποιήθηκαν οι διαδικασίες του διοικητικού και τεχνικού ελέγχου των συμμετεχόντων, διασφαλίζοντας ότι όλα τα οχήματα και τα πληρώματα πληρούν τις απαιτούμενες προδιαγραφές για την ασφαλή διεξαγωγή του αγώνα.
Παράλληλα, οι αγωνιζόμενοι συμμετείχαν σε ενημερωτικό σεμινάριο για τη χρήση του ηλεκτρονικού roadbook, ενώ πραγματοποιήθηκε και η καθιερωμένη συνάντηση των διοργανωτών με τους Team Managers, κατά τη διάρκεια της οποίας παρουσιάστηκαν οι τελευταίες οργανωτικές λεπτομέρειες και δόθηκαν οι απαραίτητες οδηγίες ενόψει της εκκίνησης.
Την ίδια ώρα, το Service Park στο Άργος Ορεστικό απέκτησε πλέον πλήρη αγωνιστικό παλμό, καθώς οι περισσότερες ομάδες εγκαταστάθηκαν στους χώρους τους. Μηχανικοί, τεχνικοί και αγωνιζόμενοι εργάστηκαν καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της ημέρας για τις τελευταίες προετοιμασίες και ρυθμίσεις των οχημάτων, δημιουργώντας την ξεχωριστή ατμόσφαιρα που χαρακτηρίζει κάθε μεγάλη διοργάνωση Cross Country Rally.
Το ενδιαφέρον στρέφεται πλέον στην αυριανή ημέρα, η οποία αναμένεται ιδιαίτερα γεμάτη και σημαντική για την εξέλιξη του αγώνα. Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει τον επίσημο δοκιμαστικό γύρο (Shakedown) στην περιοχή Βοτάνι, ενώ το απόγευμα θα διεξαχθεί η πρώτη ειδική διαδρομή κοντά στο Αεροδρόμιο Άργους Ορεστικού.
Η ημέρα θα κορυφωθεί με την Πανηγυρική Εκκίνηση του Baja Greece 2026, η οποία θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Πάρκο Εθνικής Αντίστασης στο Άργος Ορεστικό. Εκεί, κάτοικοι και επισκέπτες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν από κοντά τους πρωταγωνιστές της διοργάνωσης, να δουν τα αγωνιστικά οχήματα και να συμμετάσχουν στη μεγάλη γιορτή που σηματοδοτεί την επίσημη έναρξη του σημαντικότερου αθλητικού γεγονότος της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας.

Baja Greece 2026: All Set for the Start
of the Competitive Action
Preparations for Baja Greece 2026 continued at full pace today, as competitors underwent the administrative and technical scrutineering process, ensuring that all vehicles and crews meet the required standards for the safe conduct of the event.
At the same time, competitors attended an informative seminar on the use of the electronic roadbook, while the traditional meeting between the organizers and the Team Managers also took place. During the meeting, the final organizational details were presented and all necessary instructions were provided ahead of the start of the rally.
Meanwhile, the Service Park in Argos Orestiko came fully to life as most teams settled into their designated areas. Mechanics, technicians, and competitors worked throughout the day on the final preparations and adjustments to their vehicles, creating the unique atmosphere that characterizes every major Cross Country Rally event.
Attention now turns to tomorrow’s schedule, which is expected to be particularly busy and important for the progress of the rally. The program includes the official Shakedown stage at Votani, while the afternoon will feature the first Special Stage near Argos Orestiko Airport.
The day will culminate with the Ceremonial Start of Baja Greece 2026, which will take place at the National Resistance Park in Argos Orestiko. Residents and visitors alike will have the opportunity to meet the protagonists of the event, admire the rally vehicles up close, and take part in the celebration that marks the official launch of the largest sporting event in Western Macedonia.Baja Greece is held with the institutional support of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, the Regional Unit of Kastoria, and the Municipality of Argos Orestiko.
